UEJ23—Self-amalgamating insulation tape


UEJ23 is EPR (ethylene propylene rubber) based self-amalgamating insulation tape.

The self-amalgamating property makes it voidfree, electrical stable build-up and resistant to moisture

penetration. It is suitable for insulating the termination and joint of polymeric insulated cable up to 69kV.



Feature

● Based on EPR.

● Normal operation temperature: 90°C.

● Capable of operation at emergency overload temperature: 130°C.

● Excellent stretch, moisture, corrosion and chemical resistance.

Standard size


● 19mm×9m, 10m

● 25mm×5m, 9m, 10m

● 38mm×9m, 10m

● Other sizes can be available upon to request

Application


● Insulating for splices on polymeric insulated cable from 600V up to 69kV.

● Primary insulation for building stress cone on power cable from 600v up to 35kV.

● Jacketing on high voltage terminations and splices.

● Moisture sealing for all electrical connections.

● Bus bar insulation and cable jacket repairing and end sealing.

● Cross reference: 3M Scotch 23, Plymouth W963 Plysafe.
