Link Boxes for up to 110kV



JDX, JDBX Earthing Boxes

JDX and JDBX link Boxes are used for earthing the metallic cable

sheath of single core cables up to 110kV. The JDX Boxes are earthing

directory, the JDBX are designed with sheath voltage limiters. Both

JDX and JDBX boxes are designed with perfect sealing propertity.

JCHX Cross-link Boxes

JCHX link Boxes are used for earthing and bonding cable sheaths

of single core cables up to 110kV, so that the induced voltages and

circulating currents are eliminated or reduced, which will increase

the transmission capacity and reduce the heating of the cable. JCHX

boxes are designed with perfect sealing propertity.

JDBX Earthing Boxes with BHQ

BHQ sheath voltage limiters

The optional sheath voltage limiters BHQ are made of zinc oxide and

designed to provide active over-voltage protection that contributes

directly to improved reliability of the system. The JDBX and JCHX link

boxes are designed with BHQ.

Application


Single core cables in operation carry alternating currents and induced voltages in the metallic sheath of the

cable. These currents may cause, depending from the sheath bonding, circulating currents flowing in the

cable sheath which reduce the transmission capacity of the cable and cause an additional heating.
